Whipped Tarama Dip

Essentials 

  • 1 cup ready-made pink tarama (we love Krinos)
  • 1–2 tbsp ice-cold water
  • 1–2 tsp mr. pete’s olive oil
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • tiny pinch white pepper (about 1/16 tsp)
  • 1/2 tsp finely chopped parsley (optional)

Process

  1. in a bowl, use a hand-mixer to whip tarama with 1 tbsp ice-cold water until lighter and fluffy, about 1 minute. 
  2. while whipping, drizzle in the olive oil.
  3. stir in lemon juice and white pepper.
  4. if it’s still thick, add the remaining 1 tbsp ice-cold water and whip again.
  5. chill 20–30 minutes before serving.
  6. enjoy with warm pita or veggies!
